Resourcing with Animal Love
For this meditation and practice session, Peggy Rowe Ward will explore how the animals we encounter in life, whether pets or wild, can act as a resource of safety and resiliency during challenging times.
Within trauma-informed therapy and mindfulness, a resource is a person, animal, place, activity or memory that empowers you with a sense of safety, stability and love. When called upon, these resources, like our two-winged, tailed and furry friends, can help us shift our nervous system from distress and overwhelm to a greater sense of balance and well-being.
Session will include meditation, gentle movement exercises and resourcing practices.
