Sound as a Gateway
A part of the Sit With Me meditation series
Different cells in our bodies vibrate at different frequencies to create our own unique song. The voice in guided meditation is an example of sound meditation, as is mantra and chanting.
Sound is a tool we can use to cultivate and support deep relaxation, so that we may create a gentle, yet powerful, experience that heals the body, clears the mind, and helps rein our attention to the present.

Peggy offers a variety of embodied meditation practices in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and beyond. Embodied meditation refers to a lived experience of spirituality that is grounded in the body. It's about integrating meditation into our daily life. We will explore practices that will help us do just that!
Peggy began practicing meditation in college and it took her a while to realize that there was nothing to "get". She learned that the key is to relax into our body and to lean into our own natural radiance. She loves to lead the practice and to sit in community.
